Lindsey Black

Founder

People are important. Lindsey’s love for people developed over many experiences. She moved ten times before graduating high school, living in seven different states. At twenty-one she spent eighteen months in Guatemala as a gospel and welfare missionary. She has seen poverty and wealth; Lindsey asserts that  “people survive when their needs are met and thrive when they have dreams to reach. That is why my purpose for life is to love, connect, and live dreams.”

At home, her main focus is guiding her four sons. Lindsey, her husband Greg and their sons, love college sports, the beach, traveling, skiing and spending time with extended family and friends. Lindsey enjoys Peloton rides, playing sports, eating warm chocolate chip cookies and cheering on their sons.

In her community Lindsey participates in PTA, church youth groups, a book club, as well as supporting their four son’s competition and recreational sports programs. She is fluent in Spanish and has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Microbiology and Clinical Lab Science.

Lindsey is passionate about her work at Tencap.  Observing the consequences of abundance and scarcity has Lindsey committed to helping people and families obtain their American Dream. Lindsey loves to watch people gain and implement powerful financial education so they become financially independent & driven by purpose. Lindsey says, “as people find purpose in finances, they gain power to act and live a life they have always dreamed about. Anytime I can watch someone connect money with purpose, I can see stress diminish & their future become bright – and that’s fun to be a part of.”

Lindsey is an integral part of the Tencap team. She helped to fund the company in its founding stages, helps with managing the bookkeeping and internal finances and is involved in putting on multiple financial education events every year.
