Joe Griffin brings over 16 years of experience building and managing financial planning firms. He’s currently working towards scaling his second billion-dollar firm, and Joe is under 40. Joe helps the firm deliver exceptional client service built on the values of the firm. Freedom. Love. Integrity. Excellence.
Joe loves the financial planning space and is very proud of the success and growth that has come from his proprietary marketing and leadership. Joe has been able to successfully create a brand activation strategy and create and deploy creative concepting for multiple financial planning firms, in multiple states, over his career.
Joe only works with firms that are stated fiduciaries on each client relationship. Leading a financial plan with ethics and integrity is something Joe is committed to.
Joe serves on the Banterra Bank Executive Council for the Utah market. Being involved with the exceptional leadership and council of Banterra Bank has been a privilege. Many strong friendships and partnerships have formed within this remarkable group of professionals.
Joe spent years being involved with the bright minds of the investment committee at Utah’s 529 college savings plan from 2012 – 2021. Utah’s 529 proudly manages over 20 billion. Working with the brilliant leaders charged with managing Utah’s 529 plan was a highlight of Joe’s career. This investment committee is well organized, professional and comes together to study and yield to the academics of investing.
Joe is a results-driven leader committed to empowering a team of professionals whose work reflects accountability and success. Tencap has been a part of continuing growth that has accelerated year-after-year. This growth is a by-product of the client-first mentality that Joe is honored to be a part of.
Joe is proud to be leading a team that trains and develops each client in excellence on wealth accumulation, wealth consumption, tax planning, insurance audits and estate planning.

In his free time, Joe serves on the Ouelessebougou Alliance Board, an organization devoted to transforming the quality of life in West Africa; Joe has served on the board for years. It is a great honor to contribute in any way to helping the remarkable and resilient citizens of Africa.
Joe loves camping, boating, hiking, pickleball, mountain biking, UTV’s and in the winter Joe rides a Timbersled. Most of all, Joe loves creating memories with his wife and three children.
